1974 BMW R906 Motorcycle in Downey, CA

1974 BMW R90/6 Motorcycle. It was a one owner bike. Matching numbers #[removed phone]. 24,759 original miles. Built in 4/74. I put the motorcycle on the road this year. But to freshen the bike up, it has new fuel lines, plugs, and oil. Battery and tires where recent this year. Tires have about 95 percent tread left. All of the electronics do work. Clutch and brakes feel as they should. Bike starts right up and runs great, no leaks or noises. The bike appears to be all original in exception for the horn, and crash bar. As far as the condition goes i will try and describe the bike to the best of my ability. It is not a show bike but very clean and a fine original r90/6 example. Gas tank inside is clean. Paint still has a nice shine, maybe a few blemishes here and there but still looks very nice. One small ding on right side of tank,by knee pad, see picture. Side covers have no cracks. No dents or dings in front or rear fenders. Seat has no rips or tears. A small piece of trim missing on right side. Mufflers have no holes or dents. One broken fin on the right head, other than that no broken fins on the motor. Other than that no other damage. Overall for the chrome, some has pitting. On the handlebars mostly. Again a very nice example of an original r90/6.
